Розглянуто суть поняття "якість менеджменту" і його критерії. Проаналізовано наявні методики визначення ефективності менеджменту в організації. Запропоновано здійснювати оцінювання ефективності системи управління на підприємстві за функціями, які виконує менеджмент на підприємстві. Застосована методологічна база дала змогу принципово змінити уявлення про змістовно-процесну специфіку й інструментально-аналітичні можливості діагностики стану якості менеджменту для вітчизняних підприємств. Це допомогло автору визначитись, що оновлення системи оцінювання якості менеджменту для сучасних підприємств слід здійснювати: по-перше, з врахуванням економічних і операційно-функціональних потреб підприємства, а також особливостей середовища втілення його стратегічних, тактичних і операційних цілей; по-друге – за умови раціонального додержання провідних онтологічних і методологічних принципів – ієрархічності групування факторно-критеріальної системи; зовнішньо-внутрішньої упорядкованості і системності охоплення факторною системою змісту бізнес-процесів; сполучення переваг ретроспективних і превентивних інструментів оцінювання з метою успішного використання створюваної технології забезпечення якості менеджменту для своєчасного продукування коригуючих і упереджуючих впливів.
Анотація (англ): 
The essence of the concept of "management quality" and its criteria are considered. The existing methods of determining the effectiveness of management in the organization are analyzed. It is proposed to evaluate the effectiveness of the management system at the enterprise by the functions performed by management at the enterprise. The applied methodological base allowed to fundamentally changing the notion of content-process specificity and instrumental-analytical possibilities of diagnostics of the state of management quality for domestic enterprises. This allowed the author to determine that the update of the management quality assessment system for modern enterprises should be carried out: first, taking into account the economic and operational-functional needs of the enterprise and the peculiarities of the environment of its strategic, tactical and operational goals; and secondly – under the condition of rational observance of the leading ontological and methodological principles: hierarchical grouping of the factor-criterion system; external-internal orderliness and systematic coverage of the factor system of the content of business processes; combining the advantages of retrospective and preventive assessment tools, in order to successfully use the created technology to ensure the quality of management for the timely production of corrective and preventive effects.
